Marriage Licenses

All couples planning to get married in Ontario must purchase a Marriage License from a municipal office within the province. A Marriage License may be purchased up to 90 days prior to the wedding.

A Marriage Licence application must be completed by individuals wishing to purchase a Marriage Licence. The form will only be accepted by completing the information and taking it in person to an Ontario Marriage Licence issuer. Contact your City/Municipality Clerk's Office for the location of the Marriage Licence Issuer nearest you along with specific identification requirements.
